When we first started making jeans, Ann's favorite cropped flare shape was the second order of business after the classic straight-leg silhouette. No high-tech fabric compositions, no fussy back pocket stitching, no magic seaming that promises to shrink you by whole sizes... just a classic pair of jeans that makes you look like a better, more pulled-together version of yourself. They're made in Los Angeles of stretch Cone Mills denim and then garment-dyed to a pretty, neutral shade of sage green. The 27" inseam isn't too cropped, so it'll work if you're tall, but the flare breaks at the right point that you won't ruin the shape by making them shorter. (Ann cuts hers off for even more crop, but you can hem them if you like a more polished look.)
